Is there any way to visually identify camshafts for a manual TT v camshafts for an Auto TT motor?
If I use manual cams in a TT motor what are the pro's and cons, v auto cams?.
    Car is an auto.
I have a set here with blue black painted bands and a couple of tan dots on them, only markings are F65.
The heads have been fly cut where the lobe sweeps across the lifter and the heads have .5 bigger valves fitted.

if you have some head work done ,I would use the manual cams,

Just ports matched and flowed beside the bigger valves, springs and head shaved.

would still run manual ..our cams are small..
and you have increased some flow by valves and matchporting.

    others may disagree.:)

Cams are identified with a coloured stripe. Have a search here, can't remember off thr top of my head.
