    Hi

I'm just gearing up to do some work on my front brakes, and was looking at some prices for rebuild kits on the calipers.

TTZ have the front kit for $130ish, were concept Z have it for about $35 + maybe $18 postage, which is maybe $70 AUS, is there any other charges normally?

This sounds like a good place to get the bits? Anyone know of any local places that could do any better?

    Cheers

    Try your local brake shop

if there is one. They can supply kits for any type of car.

I've used Brakepro (Sydney/Thornleigh) many times. If you run into problems, you can always take the whole thing back and get them to check it out or give you advise. A brake cylinder that looks good to you may in fact be scarred and leak

I just rebuilt mine a few months ago, the seals cost $50 per caliper from a brake shop in Newcastle. The pistons were in perfect condition so that was all it cost (I already have a giant tub of rubber grease).
Remember though DO NOT undo the bolts in the calipers!, and dont throw the old parts away till you have done the rebuild, I found the new clips for the dust seals were not as strong as the old ones so I put the old ones back on:zlove:
