bypassing under plenum coolant hoses

    Attached are two pics of my N/A system...In the diagram (coolant pipes 2.jpg)there are a total of 4 little pipes each sticking out of the water pipe (feed) and water pipe (return). I'm not sure what they do. Do I have to connect these using two water hoses (indicated in blue) to bypass the system ?

    In the picture (rear coolant hoses.JPG), I just indicated connecting up the two "upper" small pipes coming out of the large Water Pipe (feed) and Water Pipe (return). Not sure if this is right and whether I need to connect the "lower" two small pipes too ?
