So unfortunatly it has come to this. When becoming a member in a forum you share the general interests of all other members and work as a common group for the betterment of that interest - in this case its the 300zx. Recently I have purchased a 300zx and have done a considerable amount of work to it to get it back to a state that would be roadworthy and also an engine that was working (more about that in an other thread so stay tuned) for all those that thought the previous owners rebuilt the car below- it wasn't, never had been - pulled apart and put back together yes but rebuilt - no. However it would appear that what has got me unstuck is a $40 reverse light switch. I posted a wanted thread on this forum and had a response from Dave to which we agreed to purchase his reverse light switch for $30 + $10 postage and handling. This was over 4 weeks ago, after numerous PM's as well as the assistance of a forum moderator the item still has not arrived. The responses came back initialy stating that the part had been sent but now there are no responses to PM's. And yes Dave has been on forum in fact his last activity is recorded on the 29th (yesterday). Therefore this post is a simple buyer beware - do not purchase from Dave as he is unable to fullfil his commitment to deliver on the goods. Sorry Dave- but I did mention in the last 3 PM's that I would publicly make people aware of this. It's simply unethical.... Sure its only $40 but still..
yeahhhh id be taking a different aproach to contacting him then just flaming... there is a reason we have mods etc... I went away for 2 weeks and my account said i never left because my computer stays on. Don't be to quick to shoot without finding out why the guy is in bed with your daughter... he may have ledit reasons life falling in an ice pod and needing to warm up fast so he doesnt get hypothermia... yes it maybe Perth in summer time but you have no way to prove it wasn't what happened Mr Helms. So I'd say step back and take a breath before this thread turns in to a "Don't sell to ggb unless you are at the post office on your phone with the item already in the mail when you accept the deal.

to 8300zx9 - I thanked you for providing a most useful comment - or not. Photos don't do the Zed any justice as it just doesn't pick up the shape and the lines of the kit... it looks different from every angle..
ggb, i probs should keep my opinions to my self, you will get to know that my direction is a clean fully restored zed that looks like the 80k car it was back in the day, like someone would do to a classic, and would do for a lambo or supercar. You hold all rights to hate mine too Thing is tho, the car is stunning and has perfect lines to begin with, no need to pretend its anything more than that, its not a commowhore that a p plater thinks its a HSV if they stick the clubby body kit on it, or 22's to make it faster, and slammed to make it corner better its not a civic that needs a bodykit to petend that its a supercar! cos its just not..... Once again my opinion, you can bag me out just as much back

I've seen this car a fair bit back in it's prime, it pulls off the black highlights well. It's not my taste, but I can appreciate it.You call it rice, I call yours boring.

im an old man before my time though I used to love all the body kit stuff when i was 12 but quickly hated it and the name tag you get.... trust me, a while back Adam from VIC was going to do a vailslide body kit and shit but was quickly put down and attacked! lol alot of people will be on my side here, whether they man up or not...... I dont mind a bit of lowering, nice tastefull mags, but thats all......zeds dont need stuff glued on they are sexy as is!
