My 1989 z32 was creaking and squeaking towards the front right of the car, and the right tyre when full lock would scrap the inside of the guard. So had the inner and outer bushes replaced and the 2 problems have disappeared.
However, the car ride has changed. From measuring inside the wheel up to the guard it has been raised 2 cms.
Has anyone heard of this before?

If you replaced the upper control arm bushes then I'm guessing they have corrected your camber back to factory specs (Not an adjustable bush kit was it?) pushing the top of the wheel out and down giving you a more apparent gap.

Yes that's what they did, not an adjustable bush kit. Didn't think it would rise so much especially with lowered king springs already in it, just a bit of a surprise. Thanks for the help
