Hi Guys, Just wondering if you can shed some light on what this hose/T Piece is and where I can get a replacement from. The hose is snapped off inside and cannot be reattached. The part of The hose facing down connects to some sort of fuse near the drivers side firewall and I cant see where the other ends connect too. BTW I do have my AIVs removed not sure if its related to them. I know this is similar to APMs post earlier. Did a quick search on TTZed to no avail. Cheers
Looks like a T for a boost gauge? I have a similar thing in my engine bay but mine is all brass and it was for a boost gauge which i no longer have.
T piece looks like a pushlok fitting. You should be able to remove the broken piece of hose and then reconnect it. Wondering if thats the vacuum line to the EGR thats been tapped into? Have you temporarily blocked those lines so you don't lose vacuum?
I thought that too But it has little metal tabs which stop the hose coming out (pushlock?), I might be able just to bend these tabs back some how and silcone the hose back in there, hopefully it stays there. It just doenst look like standard T Piece connector thats all, im pretty sure its used for the boost gauge or boost controller.
Check if the outer ring of the tee fitting will push towards the centre - if it moves this should release the tabs/barbs that lock the hose in place
