I've gotta have funky ratios somewhere along the line then! Im definately doing lower revs at that speed. I shall check to see what I'm doing at 100kph.
you have a auto zed converted to a manual though franz.... were there any differences between the auto and maunals that could explain it? ::Risk::
Peter, with your 265/35/18's & the NA diff...... you will be doing 156km/h at 4K, so theoretical speed at 7000rpm will be 274km/h. MORE than fast enough  With the NA diff, petrol consumption will not be the best but how do you like 1st gear. I find 1st gear way too short with a tt diff, I'd hate to imagine it 10% shorter.
yes, just a little funny to see the response i'd get. At least everyone now knows to keep an eye out for a Green Zed travelling FAST
Never really known much different as its the only car I really drive. I like the 1st gear though. Goes and pulls quite nice.
Nice man that's impressive... the most I've ever had was 6,500rpm in 5th still pulling like a school boy over his first porno mag, but I just ran out of room. No idea how fast it was though... not sure I'd be game to try 295km/h, that's farkin quick.
ok ok, it's gone far enough. It was a joke... the most I've ever had the Zed up to is 260k's. It was a small experiment to see the comments and responses I would get. It's obvious that noone would put it past me to do 300km/hr in a 60km/hr zone. Is it because I'm a Queenslander?? How come I didn't get any flames???
It's because you're a "retard",> QLD has nothing to do with it:LOL: You haven't been "flamed", because we've all done the "DON'T BURN RETARDS OR QUEENSLANDERS" course (which is mandatory if you live in a State which borders QLD.):LOL::zlove: I don't think you run a similar course in QLD.:zlove: Aaarrrrrrrrrgh!............
