Brembo Shims

Do you need to run shims on the pads for R33 GTR Brembos? the shims in there at the moment are glued on to the pads and don't seem to be a reusable item?

 

Nup the R33 type Brembo calipers do not run shims on the pads.

 

Yep, I don't believe that I have any type of shim on my Brembo's. They squeeled like a bitch on my last zed, but on the slicktop they are fine Same calipers, same pads, same rotors, same brake lines

 

I got new shims with the new pads.... ?

Before install Ill also squish around some anti squeel.

 

Thanks guys I'll see if the qfm pads come with them. If not I won't worry about it

 

keep the stock ones just incase. ..
