just look, adore and drule>>>>>> http://www.ttzed.com/products/produ...M&PartID=60&page=1&title=OEM Engine&do=detail bit pricey the bastards but i suppose its worth it for a new one thats yet to have its crank turned
Ages ago I e-mailed Unique Auto sports about the 398kw (i think it was) engine they had for sale asking how much he wanted for it. He said around 20K, I guess thats not a bad price, he'd only done 1000ks on it apparently, mostly on the track, came with everthing you'd need to drop it straight into any zed, ecu etc... If I was made of money back then it would probably would've been a good deal. I wonder who did buy that engine though? Was it a member on this forum? Cheers
Brand new TT engine found this site seem fair price for a long engine http://www.courtesyparts.com/Mercha...n=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=LVG30DTT-MT
wonder how much that would cost to frieght would almost have been better value than rebuilding... especially when you consider its totally new...
Do the maths. USD + Freight, bare standard motor Better value than a complete (proper) rebuild? I don't think so, actually I know not
TT SHORT BLOCK PRICE If the price of the long block is a bit hexy there is always the short block. http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=SVG30DTT still not bad for 4,977.62 AUD but as other people have bought up freight would be the killer. But not if you have a brother that works at toll
Has anyone ever worked out what it would cost to Buy a full brand new 300zx in peices from the nissan parts department?
does nissan or concept zed or anywhere have a package that you could buy all the clips and bolts as a big 50kg package? that would be something interesting
Nobody's bought it yet, it's still in johns car. I nearly bought it for $20k when my motor went bang, looking back it would've been a smart idea but hey mine will make more power anyway
Barely Legal Performance will sell them in 6 mths Completely built engine including forged parts, rods etc and boring will be $12,500 and we will be doing kits with all the other necessary parts to support (ie, ECU, turbo based on required HP) - built to order (3 weeks) This will be the same motor that we are putting in our car in the next two-three months. Using ours as a guinea pig but it should be pretty bullet-proof. Ill post up the details when I get home tonight. Hoping to sell them in crate form and hoping to make 500rwhp with GT600R and close to 700rwhp with gas and race fuel. Time will tell. Nate BLP
