Planning to get one of these for the zed, from what I understand FPCU needs to be bypassed so it has constant power. Also would the pump constantly flow its 300l/h?

Will fuel simply be controlled by the reg and injectors and all unused fuel flow back to the tank? Concern is with threads lately in regards to fuel temps it wouldn't be ideal if the pump is turning over a 50L tank 6 times per hour.

So basically is the pump at full noise all the time or only as you step on it as required? Anyone got one, how does it fit on the standard fuel assembly?

    Thanks Matt,

Man pretty sure Z1 have Aeromotive 340LPH fuel pumps for a little bit cheaper then 044's?

Why would you put a fuel pump that flows LESS fuel than a standard one?

So an 044 does flow less, I have n/a now TT so wanted to throw a new pump in instead of 20 yr old TT pump.

Since when does a Stock pump flow in excess of 300lph.

The stock TT pump is quite special. It flows MORE fuel at 40 PSI than any of the Bosch pumps and more than the stock R32, R33 pumps.

Do a forum search and you will find the figures. I can lead you to water but you will have to drink yourself. :)

Exactly... I keep reading on the forum how good the stock pump is but NOBODY can actually figures.

I found the 240 figure too but no idea how credible the source is. Assuming its remotely accurate then it's a long way from aftermarket options such as Denso that flow 270.

Does the Bosch 044 really flow 300? That's a shitload of fuel...

Denso is what you want... In tank, cheaper than stock, flows more than stock.

UAS did actually test this back quite a few years ago. The stock TT pump outflowed all the others. I supplied a Denso pump that was tested by John at the same time. Stock TT pump outflowed them all.

    Thread is here somewhere.

    Well

yes the stock pump is good for 240, but only at 13.5volts, some one said 11v was ok, and that may be true at 9psi stock boost. But anything under 12v at the pump imo is just asking for it, especially in combination with higher boost pressures.

    that packs a punch !

    Flow rate: 400 LPH @ 40PSI @ 13.5 Volts
