Well, Running AVC-R... Boost Setting B... No Worries running .70-.75 bar and holding with out a care in the world.... Boost Setting A... However is another story... Set at 1.10bar and when pushing full throttle now... never makes it above 1.00bar... Could the clutch be slipping at the higher boost level because of the rear main leak(again!!!)??? I think it's unlikely but if someone could give me a clue would be greatly appriciated. Also when I turn off the car and let it sit for a while I hear a hissing (possibly bubbling as well - will be downing the head gasket test tomorrow morning) sound from under the radiator cap... which is very curious and I don't think blown head gasket as it happens after the car is turned off (and... when I jiggle the radiator is seems to provoke the hissing:wacko:??)... Thanks
Might have poped a hose lose some where Making it difficult for the turbos to reach X boost. My EGR vac pipe from the EGR control solenoid all ways pop's off just under the plenum at the back, drivers side. Not enough room for me to get my hands in there to zip tie it down.
All of my EGR piping was removed when I got the new plenum put on...?? As well as the Throttle Body Heating hoses...Removed.
