Hi all, I had to (due to unfortunate CF bonnet dodgy-ness) grind off the bolts holding it to the latches. I would like to know if anybody knows the correct bolt type that holds the bonnet to the latches - there are 4 of them (ie. M? x ???) ?

    Thanks

12mm head, (M7 i believe). Just took this one out of my car, bolt going through the hinge to the bonnet, also has the same ones holding the hinge to the body

(if i understand rightly thats the one your after?) The front latch has 3 bolts, very similar but with a large washer.

    I would have thought M8. M7 is not a usual/standard size.:zlove:

yeah pretty sure its M8 thread (standard 12mm head type of bolt) found on many auto components, be the same ass those holding your doors on as well (maybe a tad shprter though). personally I would just gpo to a wrecker and get 4 bonnet bolts from a maxima or similar as long as they are 12mm heads and its a Japanese brand car I can not see you going wrong.

Had to do the same thing today.

I just went to Repco and got some M8x1.25 20mm

    Pack of 5 for $4 worked a treat :)

They are 13mm heads if that bothers you.
