Came from Eric's drag car. He got it from Japan I think. Pretty sure its a cusco safety 21.

Everything needs a good clean ;)

I have the exact same cage. Nice to see that it fits snugly. I have 2 extra bars welded in though. didnt want to remove the interior and make it look all ugly. I like how you have just left the back seat down. Thanks for the pics.

Pretty sure the back seat would fit up it I unbolted the rear bars, put seat up, then re-fit. No point tho, there's not enough room to sit in the back anyway! lol

Also, I had the backrest out when I gave the car to Eric for install (so I could get the rear trim out ready for him).

Also, you will need a deep steerer, or a spacer - your hand wont fit past the cage if you are holding the wheel otherwise ;)

Looks very much like a Forklift I once drove(the car, not the foot).:p

The foot looks very much like something I may have driven over(with the Forklift, not the car).:br:

Hey where did that cage come from? Looks good and still works :) I'm looking at putting one in just in case I end up on my roof again.

Got it off someone on the forum for $61 about 5 years ago - best money I've ever spent, transferred it to my new zed, slight bend but it's still good!

It's a safety 21 cage, they pop up every now and again.. hope you find one - stiffened up the car nicely too.

Yeah its hard to find a cheap one that still works in aus, $61 was a bargain. Might just end up getting one made.

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Just for anyone's reference these exact cages are all over yahoo japan. Around $500 for the 1/2 that Martini has and $1000+ for the full.
