hi all, does anyone have url's for businesses that sell bodykits for 300zx's? cheers i have already looked at a few but not quite getting what i want
There is a heap around BHP try a google search etc. however nearly all are overseas and a lot of shipping companies wont ship fibreglass body kits or panels so I have found or if they do they want an arm and half a leg to do it.
wings west is what i am going to get, one way or the other have already spoken to UAS they want full price up front before they even order it, then it's a 4-6 week wait and probably add another 2 weeks to that to get to me, i am quite happy to pay for it once it hits australia but i don't see why i should pay for it so they can order it from america

wow thats pretty crap. do a search on here, i remember a few diff threads on bodykits, ive made a couple. off the top, carmate, jetspeed, zforce, ebay, cant think of any others off the top, should be able to come across em searching tho.
BHP if you want wings west, try ebay. Theres polyurethane wings west front bars there last time I looked. Shipping is a killer but its still cheaper than UAS.
yeah,i had a thread on bodykits a couple of months ago,the conclusion was ,stay the hell away from carmate
Also, check in the tech section under "LINKS". You may know this already, but there's a few sites there that sell bodykits. Also, if you find a good place to get it let me know? I want one too
it's giving me a headache f$%n bodykits, think i might just order the UAS one and be done with it, at least i know i'll get it, and i think once you add freight to the overseas urethane kits there wouldn't be a great deal of difference in the price anyway, i guess it costs a little more to support australian business jetspeed sell the wings west type quite cheap but they are fibreglass and i want urethane, only the best for my baby, so it looks like i am up for about $10K for bodykit and paint then another $ 6 or 7K for wheels and tyres, this car is gonna send me broke :bash:
$10k is $10,000,i hope you mean $1k  the kaminari bodykit is nice too, have you seen that one,but it is fibreglass
yeah, i know how much 10K is and what i meant was $10,000 the bodykit and new rear wing are about $3,800.00 to get to my place, then i have to get it all fitted and get the paint guys to do their stuff, i am not going to sand it back myself because i can't be f$%ed and i am too busy anyway cheers
You can buy a lot of 'fibreglass kits' for 10K Fair enough that the front is urathane but the rest ???? I cant see how a fibreglass rear wing could be damaged, nor the rear valance for that matter. Skirts may cop a few stone chips but other than that what else can really damage them & lets face it urathane will still cop the stones too and WILL chip the paint ! My kit which I've just started to fit is a selection of various kits..... Front from one supplier, rear valance and skirts from another, rear wing from yet another person and the front headlight panel from another source.... All up the whole lot cost me just under $1500 Painting and fitting should be under the $1000 mark ( $1500 if I do a full respray ) !!! For 10K I recon it would be better to buy another Zed
so what style is the front, sides, rear etc,may be a few pix would help your sale im seeing alot of details, with no information at all
yeah but when only the best will do why settle for less and be disappointed? i want my car looking exactly as i want it to so no expense will be spared, some may say it's a waste of money, i get told that all the time, i intend keeping the car basically forever, barring mishaps, so i want it to look stunning, which it will when i get all this done, then it is on to the motor and interior
i am going 2 pac very low sheen satin black i want some clear over the matt because the matt seems to soak up stains from anything that touches it, which is annoying, so the clear should fix that problem
correct me if im wrong, but it makes no difference what sheen colour you put on ,its the sheen of the clear that is what gives the car it shine if you want a low sheen, give the clear a rub back with 2000 grit, that will just take off the shine
