so still potentially looking at a red tt z..just a few things that need to be fixed and wanted a price estimate..firstly
    [IMG]
NOTE: the car in the picture isnt the one i'm looking at as you can see the bumper is fine on that one :))
the front bumper has a crack (about half way through or more) in the bottom part of the bumper (see picture)..how much would it be to fix that up?

secondly..there is a big crack just above the boot brake light..apparently caused by a negligent mechanic/tradesperson when installing the rear bar brake light..any ideas how much that will cost to fix..fairly big crack..

and there are a few other cosmetic things (left dash pod thingy has a crack, few paint spots)

    any help is appreciated :)

You can DIY using bumper repair bog so long as the crack is tied together somehow. I used a metal strip and pop-rivetted it on to repair one member's zed. A $26 custom matched spray can from Autobarn was the biggest cost.

Or have a pro, weld and bog it.

Re rear: is the crack/split in the spoiler or acrylic light panel?

    thanks for the reply :)
    the rear, [IMG]
is just above the light (if i remember correctly)..no spoiler as you can see in the pic so it's just sorta on the boot hatch thing (very technical language i'm using i know)

3rd (centre) brake light panel is acrylic

Best to allow for replacement in your offer price.

nar it is just a strip I bought mine from coz with a body kit it cost me like $130.00 for the brazilian 3rd brake lightstrip and a extra $30.00 on my total postage cost.

It is just a clip on thing but it is very fragile it clips onto the back of you hatch you can kinda see it in my sig pic,the one on the far left infront of the spoiler(little black strip).

    We call it a

3rd brake light panel or infill panel.
I stock new nissan ones for $233.
Available early April. Hard to tell if the one in the pic is painted or actually part of the hatch but they come in a shiny black with no stickers.

Is the dash pod thingy you need the actual pod itslef or the housing that it goes in?

I usually stock the new housings but all the ones from coming order are sold.
    They are $35 ea.
    Regards
    John

awesome..233 bux isn't bad..pretty sure it's just a crack in the housing so for 35 bux that's a bargain..would you be getting more stock in?..it's just the left one..the one on the right i think he said the fog lights dont work but i've never used fog lights before so i wouldn't bother fixing that

    ?

Switch will not work if fog lights not fitted/replaced during compliance.

Underwater lights prolly more useful in QLD this year ;)

speaking of compliance..what's the deal with that..does the seller just have to get a safety certificate or what? or does it have to be complained as well..and with that..if the car has low profile tires (17"/225/30's i think) which are different then the manufacturers recommendations can it b"e complied ok?
