Hey everyone , My names Robert and I've had my zed for just over a year now and as some of you will recognize it used to belong to MAX, It is a 91 NA Slicktop.
I'm an apprentice spray painter so I've got a chance to respray my zed in my spare time / after work, It will be done in my favorite colour midnight purple ! :D

I started this week by removing all interior and exterior.

Next was to rub down the whole car with 600grit wet and dry , This is probably the hardest thing I've ever done after spending literally every weekend cleaning and polishing the zed.

Ill keep you all updated posting pics over the next few weeks as it slowly turns to midnight purple.

I couldn't fit the roof top moldings due to 2-3mm of paint build up in gutters, made sure this wont be a problem this time :p

Those old wheels are very rare US spec TT wheels. Only a handful in the country. Used to be worth decent money, haven't seen a set of sale in years.

I think someone was asking about $1k for a set a few years ago. I've only seen 2 sets in person, these ones and another set at Zedfest about 5 years ago.

Oh they're 8.5" rears are they? Very cool. Only the rears are bigger on the USDM cars, fronts are the same. Unless you have two pairs of rears, that would be cool...
