I'm thinking.... convertible also cutting the nose off would make it alot easier to pull the engine and box out in one go.
Both MOST excellent ideas! Major chest injuries and disembodiment, and backyard convertible hack jobs...all at the SAME TIME! But yes I reckon it's a good idea, i'm sure someone can hook us up with an angle grinder and then we're set
I think I stand for all of us here when I say...Nais! You should still get the same per tonne amount for the scrap steel, and then you can sell everything from underneath as well
perfect... maybe in a month when nothings on... anyway mike.. do you know anything about my exhaust system? details or anything?
Month or a tad more would be perfect, gives me time to move house and then i'm all set. There was nothing written on your exhaust except the Jasma approved stamp. Just put some pictures up to show condition. Looked 2 1/2 inch twin system, resonators with big oval body mufflers. Like 4 inch tip or something, maybe a tad smaller. With a H pipe in pretty ok condition. Should be able to get a bit for it I think
i'll take my ruler with me tomorrow and measure it for ya. just eye balling it, it looks like a 2.5" catback with H pipe, twin resonators and jasma mufflers with 3.5" tip. decent catback, if 2.5" should be a decent upgrade for any NA or TT.
Yes you cut the nose off about where the fuse box is then pull the engine and box out in one pce. 9 Inch angle grinder FTW. Takes about 2 mins to get the nose off. Could cut up the whole car in 15-20 mins MAX. Makes it easy to get rid of then. Will fit in a trailer. If you are using the grinder Billy. I may be able to find time to visit you in the hospital after they reattach your arm!!

i have mouldings! They're in the boot, one is repainted and will be doing the other shortly, then just need some new clips. Good as new
