About to tackle replacing all the plastic guides and cleaning the rails which guide the door windows up n down.
whats the best lube for these guides??
Light oil like sewing machine oil ? When we were kids we used a graphite powder on our skateboard bearings is this the trick ? Bit of grease ?
    ideas thoughts and tips appreciated
    thanks

Graphite will be messy as, machine oil will attract dirt.

I recommend a silicon based lubricant as dirt wont stick to it.

    You need this:

Lays down thick, won't run off the rails when it gets hot, water resistant and it smells amazing when you apply it.

wasn't there a lubricant for window guides that came in a stick? It was white and wrapped in paper? you ran it along the window guides. I cant remember the name of the stuff?
