Howdy, i've just given the blue beast a make-over, involving the following... 18" Super Advan rims (pushed out to the max with 20mm bolt-on spacers) Blue/White personalised number plates UAS front bar (with speed holes) Stillen nose panel (not vented) Bomex side skirts (not the best fit, but anyways.) I'm extremely happy with the result, it's given the blue beast some serious attutude i think. - what do you think....??? All this as well as my 100,000km service, U/D pulley and new Doof-Doof stereo makes this feel like a brand new car again. Couldn't be more proud to be a Zed owner! Cheers, Benny!
Wow that looks awesome Benny, good to see another tastefully done Zed on the road, too many these days come across as tacky and ricey... Jealous much, Adam
That looks awesome Benny!! It looks heaps tough!! I think I like you better in the blue beast than the Sled!!!
Praise indeed from HaylZ .... Is she keen on you or the Zed ... *wink* Or both! Looks great m8 *big grin* - Zed now sports a smile as big as yours!
Thanx for positive posts.... Sim, I had the choice when getting fitted, so I photochopped both options and layered it over a pic of the car. End thought IMO was the black holes were a *little bit* too much for me, with it filled in and painted blue like the rest gave it a more of a subtle look while still having the texture of the ripples in the panel. As for practicality, it's not an issue as I don't need the extra ventillation. However my Zedsled is completely the other way - as it's got the biggest body kit i've seen on a Zed! hahaha, i'm a bit too conservative for all that much. (BTW, the Zedsled is for sale here: http://www.slvrcr.com/forums/showthread.php?t=935) (bit of a sneeky plug there, lol) Cheers, Ben.
Thanks Baroo, it's Electric Blue... Except not a standard colour, custom with extra fleck in it and also a bit of pearl. - apparently a tricky colour combination to accurately reproduce. (oh well, that's what i pay a professional panelbeater to do ey! lol) Cheers, Ben.
Hey mate that looks incredible, what a difference its made. So you wanna sell that one to now catch up with you soon for a cold beer
Awesome facelift Benny! (the car mate - I won't tell anyone about your secret hehe) The whole lot looks brilliant! I dunno what else to say about it - awesome zlove zlove zlove Were you not goin to mesh the vents if you cut them out?
Nice work Benny! Looks fantastic and heaps more aggresive, like it muchly! Definately my favourite front bar, MattB
wow awsome face lift I LOVE IT hey thats a good idea, i think ill go down that route aswell, as im kind of perdandic about water getting to the filter lol... overall love the outcome...
Now your talking Looking good Benny, all the hard work is paying off.thumbsup. Next mod is to get a big brake kit and fill up the space behind the wheels, i'm a fan of the tri spoke but they open every thing up for view. Yours and Ian's (zx299) would make a pretty pair together now.
Nice work mate... Well done. Coming along nicely. Really love the paint colour and the front bar. After the Wings West bar, that front is my favourite. It's what Nissan should of done with the front. Blends in well with the rest of the shape of the Zed. It's a shame UAS didn't fully copy the GReddy Gracer and made it out of Urethane. But it's good nevertheless. Keep it up! ^_^ Rob.
