    WEV?E BEEN AWAY

Some of the Sydney siders may have noticed we have been missing from the Zed scene since November. We have been overseas.

Been to South America, USA (North East), UK, Egypt, Barcelona and Singapore.

Finally home in dear old Aust

    We have had a simply fantastic time over the last 4 months we have seen so much and experienced so many new and interesting things it is hard to go back and recall them all highlights that come to mind include;

People in South America, so friendly and welcoming

The cruise to Tierra del Fuego, the beauty of this wild, remote and unspoiled part of the world was awe-inspiring, the glaciers, Cape Horn and penguin rookeries - just fantastic.

Ground Zero New York, so terribly sad, such a waste.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, has to be one of the best museums in the world, the exhibits and layouts are stunning.

Times Square Christmas week, a real surprise, people very friendly and out for fun, not at all what we expected from New York.

New England countryside, stunning scenery and beautiful homes.

Boston, the scene of the American revolution, you can really feel the history.

    Niagara Falls, awesome.

The Cotswold?s countryside and villages we were really lucky to see this area under a blanket of snow, really lovely.

Cornwall, very lovely, wild and very windy, Tim is still complaining about losing his hat when it was blown off and over a cliff at Tintangle Castle.

The Pyramids, and the Temples along the Nile, how did they build them? They are huge, Karnak Temple in particular is fantastic it is a vast complex.

Cruise on the Nile, the country there is so different, really feels and smells like Africa.

Barcelona, quirky architecture helps make this a really vibrant city.

However the true highlight to the trip were the two (yes only two) Zeds in the rest of the world & they were in England!!!

Anyway back home can?t wait to catch up with you all and bore you senseless with tales of our trip :) :) .

    The geriatric gypsies
