Awsome BBQ at Geoffs

Howdy all,

I just wanted to voice my appreciation for the effort Geoff put into the bbq last night... Well done it was another ripper of a night... Unfortunately not enough pictures were taken :LOL::LOL::LOL:

It was good to see all the everyone and alot of new faces for me.... Excuse me if i don't remember your names first time around...

The night was full of laughter, Z talk, Bit of bagging going on especially towards the skylines:thumbsup::thumbsup: "you know wbho you are out there" :LOL::LOL:

All in all Anna had a wonderful time and really hope we can repeat this very soon....

Thank once again Geoff and the rest of you there for making it such a wonderful evening. Oh a special thanks to Geoffs parents as well. they wre very hospitable (Did i spell that right Lloyd):LOL::LOL: and extremely patient..

Geoff's BBQ

Fantastic evening, great company, great food. What a way to finish of another Zed year.
A big thanks to the Wyatt clan(Geoff and his wonderful folks), who never change, and always make us feel like one of the family.
It was terrific to see more new faces, and hopefully they will return regularly as "old friends" from now on.

Like most Zed gatherings, this one was no different, in that Lili had a sad tale to tell about her beautiful green baby getting T-boned, Matt turned it into a Tech Day when his child developed a mystery shut-down everytime it reached the vicinity of 5000rpm (???), and yours truly blew a L/H rear tyre at 120kph whilst travelling on the "all singing and all dancing" M7 Motorway (no harm done, except to the tyre), but nothing ruins the appearance of a Z32 the way a spacesaver spare wheel does.

The 2005 Bad Luck Award went to Michael (MrZee) who, after having his silver baby stolen (and returned after several days), decided to take-up Body Surfing by shooting a few "breakers" on his staircase and arrived at the BBQ minus several teeth and sporting several broken ribs (he cunningly used the opportunity to pump himself full of Morphene. Good one Mike.) The competion was close this year, as Michael narrowly pipped Tereza(Zeddude'ette) for 1st place (she also pulled a similar trick, but was beaten in a count-back) due to the fact that she emerged much "better-looking" than Michael. :LOL: :LOL:

Got into the city for my mates birthday, and the wangers at Bungalow8 told me i couldn't get in cause my jeans were to casual.

ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT... HARDLY ANYONE THERE
All my mates about 5 meters inside come to get me
and this TOSSER IN A PINK SHIRT tells me my DESIGNER JEANS ARE TOO CASUAL... What a tosser
Mind you everyone else's PLAIN blue jeans getting in no problem, but because mine have stuff on them they are too casual ???

Up your date pinky and my mates all got up... went to speak to the manager inside... told him to stop hiring tosser's who hate beautiful people and we all left and spent our good money else where

You know there are some real jealous people out there... had a guy catch up to me, JUST to flick his cigarette at my car ??? I swear there are some real nut jobs out there... And their breeding !!!!

 

KNOBS mating season

It was good to meet you mate. Yeah it was a shame you left early, we had some pretty goof laughs.

Its a shame people try and spoil things for you... This knob that flicked his cigarette was probably dreaming of owning a ZED. As long as there was no damage done... It seems to be the season for all this crap. More and more are surfacing. I guess all we can do is hope for the best at this stage, cause no matter where you go there is always an abundance of them.

Newbie's note...

What can I say....?? I am overwhelmed at the greeting and the hospitality of this fabulous night!! I must confess I was a little in awe when I first arrived to see all the fabulously maintained Zeds parked at Geoff's; the Big Guy met me at the door as tho' I was a long-lost brother....and it just got better from there!! You people are THE nicest, most-friendly, and sincere group I have ever been involved with! You really can take a bow in the way you ALL go out of your way to make someone feel welcome.:thumbsup:

Thanks for a fantastic BBQ Geoff, and Lynn for the steak after my unsuccessful attempt at turning the BBQ into a tech day. Ahh what would a Zed event be without atleast one Zed shitting itself.:LOL: Thanks to Caz and Geoff for the parts swaps:thumbsup: Got home in one piece. Atleast I didnt ask Lloyd to follow me as I wouldve been towing him:LOL:. Hmm back to attempting to fix the Zed, driving a TT with no boost isnt fun. Bit like owning an NA I guess:sick::LOL:

Nismo Stickers

Quick question... noticed a few of the Z's had little nismo stickers on the front windscreen... can't seem to find any floating around anywhere ? Any idea's where i should look ? Will try the markets on the weekend i guess and see if they have em

After seeing so many Zeds outside I really missed mine being there, hopefully it will be repaired before the next cruise.

Thanks to all for coming, it was a lovely night despite the warmth. I had such a lovely night chatting, eating and being catapulted into Workburners windscreen! Btw I am sure I fell in love last night too! Her name? Ruby, ah what a sweetheart and she loves Zeds too!

One little apology to Marrss and Lilli who had an encounter with the wicked witch of the street, at least she cooled you down a bit :wacko:

well, it was 2:50am when the last few diehards left so I think it fair to say we all had a great night.
BTW that awesome blue flash we saw at 1:15 was power substation or something blowing up in Baulkham Hills. If only i could harness that blue light for under my car, hey wait a minute Marrss already has! Sweet looking and sounding R33! Grants Cefiero was so cool too, Ah t'was Nissan Heaven.
