i beleive this is the same gated style shifter that there was a huge

s*&t fight over when it got damaged in the post between to members or whatever.....we all thought wed never see another one,remember....hurrah,its back!!!
hopefully a forum member or z entusiast (spelling?) will snap the car up and we may get another chance at this extremely rare shifter........

 

Why are these gate shifters so good? Looks like it would be a pain to change from 2nd to 3rd as well as shifting from say 2nd to forth etc. Is it actually different in reality? Or is this more a bling mod?

Yeah all those Ferrari's and Lambo's I've seen em in were huge piles of crap.

 

You saw them on the Episode of Top Gear where they buy Italian Supercars for under 10,000 pounds, and all 3 cars died before they reached their destination, then?

Maybe, I've also seen them in Diablo's, Gallardo's, F40's to name a few. If you don't like them that's fine. Leather looks great and probably suits a Zed better, but I also like the pure style of metal the gate.

 

Oh No! Don't get me wrong, I like the metal gates, just not on the Zed

 

agreed. they look nice but not for the zed..... just doesn't suit the interior trims and materials

 

So it is just a bling factor? No performance reason to fit these?

 

not that i know of....i dont see how it could be a performance boost as its just the shifter..... nothing else..... i think...... it wouldnt include the gearbox or anything like that..... so yer just a bling factor

 

I actually quite like this bling, although its bling!

For me- I love it.Each to their own I suppose. Still hunting where I could get one. No clues yet.

This doesn't look very good IMO. I think a nice leather would would look nicer, even in the galardo. Or one of those Razo units.

Yeah, it does kinda look dated. I guess they didn't have the manufacturing techniques back then they have now.

 

I think it looks pretty tacky a plain black leather one would look much better
