Ok I have done the search and only got supposition as far as I can tell. Are they different?? I pulled a set off a factory manual car today on the compressor housing is says .48 A/R I thoght manuals had .52 A/R or am I missing something. Has anybody got pics of a housing with anything different??? This was off an 89 model BTW. Just wondering if I should waste my time pulling mine off to put these allegedly "bigger" one on when I have then engine out. Definitive answers please.

no autos do have a smaller turbo than manuals

look for a thread 2 years ago about turbos in the search function.

Chewy and a couple of other got right into it.

off the top of my head some one pulled a set of yank turbos off and they had a A/F of 0.64.

Looks like Nissan made quite a few different A/F turbos for different markets.

so where do you look??? I looked on the compressor housing and it has.48 not .52 or anything. Do I look on the turbine housing what does that have that indicates its a manual spec turbo???

From what i remember its the housing thats different not the impellors

But its been a long time and a lot of booze since then. If you got .48 on the housing thats what you got.
