Well seen as I am NEW to AUTOMATIC zeds...

    I got issues ! LOL.

I seem to have to put a lot of gas on to get the car moving from a stop, once its up to speeds its not too bad, still seems sluggish.

Doesnt PULL like it should, even tho the boost is fine.

O/D won?t engage, when I back off the gas when cruising as the revs drop down to almost idle, and then it sort of drops back a gear. While rolling at the same speed.

I am getting shat off. Next thing I?ll do is rip that POS box out and put ZWEETT?s manual in it.

Fluid seems fine, all tho its hard to read that damn stick, cant really see the oil on it. hard to tell if its full of just oil from pulling it up out the tube.

    damn ZEDS.

Was working fine b for i did the 160,000 K service, and even after for a while seems to have just happend last few days.

Check the revolution sensor connector in your engine bay. Its the brown plug of the 3 auto ones that are in the drivers side front corner of the engine bay. When mine was left not connected my car behaved like that...bit like a big stally :D , no overdrive.
    Caz.. :)

    Nope.

Tranny works fine in Reverse, feels like no lag.

drive still appalling... no error codes thrown back. fluid fine... WTF?

Can a bad rear main seal cause any thing to mess up? I think that might have gone now, seem to be leaving puddles of black oil around the place, from the bell housing area.

I think its manual time :) no way that box is going back in if I do a rear main.

    still no good.

tried every thing I could find, spent hours last night searching tt.net.

cut the wire you joined EvZ to see if that changed any thing, but same old, so re-joined it.

Unless some thing is blocking the strainer in the oil pan? I dont know what else could do this.

My O/D won't engage straight away...

unless I'm accelerating (box is modified). Silly question, but have you checked the TPS is set correctly?

    seems to be throwing

CODE 54 all the time now.

Reset ECU with datascan -> restart same code.

also reads 25Deg timing, when I check with a light its 15.

    ?

datascan always reads 25 even i was like huh 25 and checked with the timing light was 15 so yeah...

Well if code 54 is coming up it could be the auto control unit as the signal circuit is cut to the ecu or maybe the wiring?

    With the auto

c/o the neutral switch, datascan should read 15 degs when in neutral or park, and 25 degs when in any other gear.

I forgot about that hehe when in N or P its at 15 degrees and 25 in D so its correct when you see the timing go up from 25 degrees then when you come to a stop its back to 25...

mines 25 all the time unless i give it gas. goes up.

    ...

Then The ECU doesn't know the car is in neutral or park

I don't know what other ill affects that might have though

    PARK SWITCH?

Sure there is a PARK switch?

I been going through the ECCS wiring digram and cant see one for park, just Netural. maybe its a manual wiring digram. but its the only one there.

the auto has an inhibitor switch. its on the side of the box and has the selector linkage connected to it so it moves as you move the shifter. this should not have anything to do with the car running strangely though i wouldnt imagine, to me it sounds mechanical unless of course the auto control unit is faulty.
