I have been working on the zed over the past few weeks i noticed that penned on the ecu it mentions auto trans ecu but the car had been convertd to a manual by previous owners, is there a siginificant difference with the manual to auto ecu and should i purchase a manual ecu...

Biggest difference is the ignition timing at idle. 25deg vs 15deg I believe.

Can be fixed with a slight rewire IIRC. Quite a few people running auto ecu's in manuals.

thanks, running conzult showed the error code for auto trans cant remember the code 44 from memory, the engine is out at the moment and rewiring of the front fuse and relay box so can't get the code and that timing was at reading at 25 degrees..

does anyone have the info ?

the above made no sense - my apologies - shouldn't post whilst working on the car..

does anyone have the rewiring map for the iirc as mentioned by chrispy?

i run an auto ecu on a manual conversion and i prefer it that way.
I tried a manual ecu bought from a forum member and ended up going back to the auto as it just felt better.
