    G'Day guys

Just got my hands on a FULL overhaul kit for my AT, and still have a few questions to make sure I look after the AT a bit more once like new.

Okay I can't seem to get a straight answer...1) DOES the TT have a separate 4 inch transmission oil cooler and the NA's have one in the radiator, or does it vary ???
NOTE guys like Wizard, Unique, Minivan, Wykked and all you other pros will know I am not talking about the "engine" oil cooler infront of the radiator, but the Tranny Oil cooler and how its setup and works etc... DO I HAVE TO get a bigger one, OR is it a cheap and easy mod and just common sense to change it while we got the car apart ???

    2) Has anyone got a Shift At Will kit installed in their car other then Steve ? If so is it mind blowing, was it worth the install ? How hard was the install... I HATE wires can any idiot install it or if not how much would it cost for install approx ???

    THANKS HEAPS
    ADRIAN

For a TT is in the radiator the same as the NA.
Do your gearbox a favour and fit an external one, not hard to do and not to expensive to buy, just make sure you get air flow through it wherever you fit it.
Steven is the only one i know who has fitted the shift at will kit, so i suggest you contact him for costs, ease of fitment etc.
I know JP had a drive of it so you might talk to him about operation.

Seonded, get a good external cooler, also....

A wise investment is a valve body mod or commonly known as a Shift Kit. Not only does this mod improve shift response but also increases lubrication to the planetary gears, extending the life of the box.

A valve body mod varies in price but on average will cost around $500. Contact Wizard (Trophey Whore) and ask him of someone in NSW he would recommend.

ye in both tt and na its in the radiator...the external coolers are excellent for the life of you tranny, it really does help temeratures when it has its own cooler...

just keep in mind to put it in a very good location where it can get heap of air...no point using one if its not in a good location
