Hi, does anyone know if Nissan uses a similar spline/bolt diameter for their steering wheel bosses on other cars?

Because... i saw a boss kit on ebay for $35 shipped which was suited for S13 Silvias, R31 Skylines, Pulsars and Nissan Patrols. But the seller didnt know if it would fit a 300ZX too, so i thought i'd check here... (disregarding HICAS, because my car doesnt have this)

If Bosses that fit S13s and R31s also fit 300ZXs then there is a good chance it will fit my car too! (i have buckleys of finding a boss kit to suit a Nissan Cedric here in Australia)

    they're probably the same

but I've got a spare HKB one for a NA I'd sell for $20, I'm not sure if suitable for cruise control though, I don't know what people normally do with that when using an aftermarket wheel..

Oh, and on my other car (cima), it came with an aftermarket steering wheel, and factory cruise which had of course been disabled due to the wheel.

I bought 2 momentary push buttons from Jaycar and mounted them on the steering column shroud behind the steering wheel. The cruise control buttons work by connecting power to 2 different pins on the cruise ECU. One for Accelerate, One for Decelerate, and BOTH for cancel. I can cancel by pressing both buttons at the same time...

Not as cool as buttons on the wheel, but at least it still has cruise control!
