Hello Im looking at a 95tt 4 seater that's pretty much stock. Its got about 85 000 on the clock, cloth interior but immaculate inside and out. I had a look at the Modified Nationals winner (for sale on here) and that looks amazing compared to this one, but I have nothing to compare a late model too. The seller is asking $35k. Anyone have any idea what late models are worth?
depending on condition.... I would pay high 20's, low 30's.... if it was really immaculate I would consider the mid-high 30's...
Well I had one offered to me for 16k To be honest I never even looked at it so I don't know details or condition, as I had already purchased another one. So yeh, I reckon $35 is dear
I would make sure it is a 95 for sure before handing any money over and even then unless it was a 2000 spec 98 model, I wouldn't pay more than $30k. Just because he is asking for $35k doesn't mean he wouldn't take $30k
well that's a lot of money to give out just like that especially when your not sure if it is really a 95 , 35k for a stocky , no chance for 35k this thing better be in the 10sec bracket and have a mad interior sorry boy and gals but no go zone for me cheers alex
how can some of you say its not worth that much if you havnt seen it:wacko: if its in great condition (like new) its worth that ,yeah you can pay 15 for a 95 but you will get what you pay for aswell:wacko:.If its good I say go for it:thumbsup:
I think you answered your own question???? you said that DUB's comp winning car PHATT looks "amazing compared to this one" .....yet he only wants $30K I think????? not $35K Considering he's probably spent a small fortune on getting his sweet ride to that stage I know where my money would be going!!! :zlove:....tough choice tho I must admit! Good luck!
thanks..... for all your help. It's quite a hard decision coz the late models have all the upgrades and are very much improved upon compared to early models. Like Ledhed said tho, I think ive answered my own question. Ill need to spend some time looking around to get a good idea what ill get in a Zed for that price.
Now that they are unable to be imported anymore You will find that once all the 'pigs' have been sold for their 12'and 13K, they will not only maintain their value but perhaps even increase(wouldn't say by a lot but nonetheless) '95 Zed will be extremely hard to find to buy at the best of times considering 1995 was the latest model able to be complied in the old system. And as stated, without seeing the car, one can only give an estimated opinion but here is mine..... If the car is a nice clean original car then RETAIL should be no more than $30K I would think its worth $25K tops if its a nice genuine car and the k's are genuine. Keeping in mind this car has now been in Australia for at least 3 years so it must have had really low k's when it was imported or .... well do I dare say! At $22K you've got yourself a bargain and at $25K you've bought yourself a nice car at a fair price. I have complied and sold literraly hundreds of these cars so take my advice as you wish. Cheers and good luck John ps: I've got a really nice TT 2+2 for sale LOL:thumbsup:
Legoz - I have to comment on this remark ... Whilst the '95 models do have some upgrades, they are only relatively minor and don't constitute making them "very much improved" on the earlier models. What a good low mileage '95 Z will have is less wear and tear (hopefully) and age.
Check out member Polishstorm, he's selling an aus spec NA blue with stillen kit for sub $20K up here and it's in great condition...
