    photos say it all.

in a colour that is love or hate it with equally questionable body kit.

probably assumed it was hot shit but since it didn't sell quickly realised that mid 2000s styling actually makes the car harder to sell so the price will need to keep coming down.

what do u think of it? needs RWC n rego. Whats blue slip btw?

If you're not in NSW then you don't need a blueslip which is an unregistered vehicle inspection. We don't have it here in VIC for example. You just need to get a RWC and they'll rego it for you.

As to whether the car is any good, that's for you to find out by test driving it and doing all the mechanical checks.

I am guessing its a ticking time bomb, from 11k to 5k. He really doesnt want to hold onto it

Non road worthy things I can see at a glance, blow off valves, lower that 100mm ground clearance, doesn't mention if it runs and is on a tow truck in one of the pictures, z32s are going up in price every 90s Japanese hero car is so if hes dropping price might be something wrong with it or it is a bargain.

    def something wrong.

Would just buy it as rolling shell and then put new engine in.

I am guessing the belt has gone and the valves has drop onto the pistons

Good call, you obviously want a z32 twin turbo.
Im going to be blunt, and no one will say this on this fourm I kind of wish somebody told me this. Now the z32 is a sexy chassis no one will argue that but owning and modifying one in Australia compered to a R chassis is filled with heralds.
You see the GTR was sold and raced in Australia and with that came Australian research and development, the Americans didn't get GTRs till very recently. The Z32 twin turbo was sold and raced in america and with that come American research and development.
Want does mean for us, economically you are far better of owning a z32 in America and a R chassis in Australia. Look at some of the american R chassis builds on youtube they cant hand over money quick enough, for rb30 blocks, hypertune intake manifolds, 6 boost manifolds,PPG gearboxes, spool bottom ends and stroker kits these are all Australian made or Australian R&D ( there is one stroker kit in existence for the vg30 and its about $12,000 for a JUN kit and about $9000 dollars for a GTR JUN kit about $6000 for a spool kit). Where Z32 money goes the other way, See want I mean parts for and $10,000 dollar Z32 are more expensive that a $35,000 GTR and in some cases A $150,000 dollar r35 GTR.
Where most of your shopping will be from the US for Z32 parts( add 50% to the US advertised price to cover exchange rates, shipping now GST on shipping and product price plus import duties)
Uas is the only racing workshop I can think of that did anything with Z32s and they put a Reno engine in it and basically left the VG30 behind no more R&d just big mark ups for the KING of z32s status.

    example
    http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/Parts-Shop/uas-3-inch-race-cat-converter-508.aspx
    $440 for a "UAS" cat

    Which is just this
    [IMG]
    http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/cat...rter-762mm-suit-nissan-rnn14-wc34-p-1597.html
    $374
Add to the need for 2 of everything, turbos, exhaust manifolds, throttle bodies, dump pipes, cats, front pipes, mufflers, intercoolers, piping, mafs, airfilters, fuel rails, cams.
So if I haven't scared you than good, To me that Z32 was design and built for the American market, the engine with good displacement, VCT and small turbos was to give a V8 like power band. Capitalise on these elements. So half rant half advise.

Look for the lowest Km least modified example in your price range, with the idea to keep it fairly stock and enjoy the roof off in summer, race car get skyline.

Z32s are maintenance pigs in general. If you want a Twin Turbo Z just make sure to have spare cash in the bank when something breaks. If it's anything turbo related, it's an engine out job. Everything else isn't too bad.

    so u think its better to buy a r32, r33, r34 if i want a 6 cylinder turbo car?

yet this trust kit fitting instructions shows you how to do turbos with the engine in.

    http://www.hksusa.greddy.com/upload/file/90-300ZX_TK_16G.pdf

I have read that the Nissan service manual also does as well, maybe the lack services manuals when it was decided that the engine needs to come out for everything, maybe Americanised thinking where your taught shop in high school and popping the cube makes more sense.
That opens up a new can of worms of well while its out, may as well do the bottom end (more US parts). I believe UAS told us that the rods were good for 400rwkw yet cars in the states are drag racing on stock bottom ends.

Makes me wonder if your going to use a z32 chassis, for anything other than stock twin turbos. You are better of starting with a NA, than you get a 4.1 rear end with huge range of diff centres, and your not paying for the parts that your going to throw away, turbos, exhaust manifolds, exhaust, intercoolers, hicas, diff, rear subframe, intakes. Basically everything that makes it a twin turbo to start with.

On a pure bang for buck basis and 90s nissan, YES.

Watch the start of this video where 1320 visits tuners edge its ware house of performance parts in Australia, I just went to there website typed in VG30DETT rod bolts came up, thats it.

So for parts, there are no local z32 parts?

    Mainly just skyline parts

Single turbo Skylines are easier to work on and parts are easy to find.

Obviously since you can change turbo with engine in car and you only need one, Z32 you need two of everything.

Personally I'd recommend a R33 out of the lot and you can pickup one around $5k with shit paint but good running gear. Bargain. RB20s in R32s are a bit soft.

a Z32 at $5k is only a good buy assuming it's actually been maintained. Most of the time it's a complete basket case.

    http://www.rgsperformance.com/ stocks some
    https://www.carcraze.com.au/ stocks some
    http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/ stocks some
    ebay

What I have notice some local part supplies have stopped stocking some lines eg:
I called whiteline for some sway bars, no long being made
I called a local to me large performance exhaust works shop that has on there website CES dumps considered the best local made dumps before RGS came on the market, was told no longer sell those, on the website but what ever asked how much for a twin 3" exhaust ill supply the dumps and cats. $2000 in mild steel asked if I can get it in stainless was told double it, $4000, $1200 for dumps $500 for cats. $4000 ok so its all tig weldes, laughs no miged together. $5700 for a local exhaust that basically the same thing from AMS $2000 US so worst case $4000 landed.

To give and Idea on cost vs performance,
    E85 build stock turbos 24psi
    Take that exhaust $5700 local
    Nistune $660 local
    RGS e85 kit $2420 local
    Intake $700 import
    Intercooler $2200 import
    Selin plus maf $950 local
    Boost control $200 local
    Flex tune $1000 local
    fit labour $500
$11,500 for 350wrkw if thats even possible locally, you really wouldn't do this to a z32 that didn't have a very healthy engine

im looking at bolt on, no tune. Want stockish build.

suspension, wheels, air pod filter and 2.5" / 3" exhaust system

Doesnt matter if z32 or r32,r33,r34

  18. MORBOOST

Stockish build is the best way to have one of these, a lot of what I wrote wasn't really directed at you. Just info in general.
    Z32 had 206 kw standard
    R32 had 158 kw standard
    R33 had 187 kw standard
    R34 had 206 kw standard

So the skylines have plastic and ceramic front turbo wheels so 15psi max
z32 has steel turbo wheels so 15psi till the injectors run out, more with injectors
Performance wise the z32 makes more power at these levels than the skylines, and look much better doing it.

Fit a manual boost controller and a cat back and go drive it.

A Z32 with these mods will outperform a skyline with same.

poser build with some spool is what i want. Skylines have a notorious name on the road. Cops always wanna buy u over.

Just want a 6 cylinder and turbo to play with. Been riding the N/A scene long enough
