I think the US spec zeds came with adjustable suspension, not sure tho? And that heater thing i think is on the later model zeds.

"That heater thing" is the heated side mirrors fitted on cars that were sold in snow bound climates(it's the folding mirrors switch on J-spec cars).

 

Did they get the heated mirrors in japan?

 

it came out in the stillen models pizza boy,you could set the rebound rates on the fly

 

i would say no because they use that exact 'heating button' as the folding button.....if they had made the left switch on the j-spec cars the folding button then i would have said its possible, but because its on the right one i have to say no, i dont think heated mirrors came out on the j-specs, thats a guess though

 

Japan did get the heated mirrors as my convertible has them

 

From what i have seen on the US zeds the ajustable suspension wasnt just for the SMZ zeds. I think standard zeds got the option as well but im not 100% sure. I think ive seen some photos of US members zeds with the Adjustable suspension switch on standard zeds.

The other switch is for the heated Mirrors as everyone has stated. Though nissan moved that switch to the RH side pod controls unit and blended it with the rear demistor switch.

Now ive read on the UK forums that there was another switch type for the zed in the heater spot. It was for heatered seats believe it or not.



Though it requiures heated pads to be installed into the ribs of the seat and apparantly they were only avaliable on the UK zeds.

 

The USDM Z31's had electronically adjustable suspension too. Such a mickey mouse bullshit feature, hideously expensive to replace and not really that desirable. Go aftermarket, set that shit to the firmest and ride! lol

 

all usdm zeds had the sport/touring suspension button.
