Has anyone used the Caltex Havoline fully synthetic oils before, its a 10w50. I have read a few articles about it and they seem to be fairly good, but i noticed when doing a search on the forum, i could not find any posts with any info on this oil...
Just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with this oil, as it seems a little cheap for a full synthetic about $40-45 as opposed to Mobile 1 etc...

    Cheers Jay

    Does it say FULL Synthetic?

Or just synthetic. Lots of oil are "synthetic" which really mean semi-synth only. The Havoline seemed to rate well from the oil bible pdf I got from this forum. It won't harm your engine but there are better oil out there like redline, motul, amsoil, etc if you're willing to pay the price

    Well time will tell

That's what I bought as from the label it is the cheapest full synthetic I saw on the shelf.

    Seems to work well !!

It would have to be better than the most of the Mineral oils.
