Any advice for EPA emissions test in VIC?

Have to take my car into the EPA test centre in Macleod in a couple of weeks for a noise and emissions test. I've done a noise test before (about 2 years ago), but can anyone tell me what to expect from the emissions test and what they check? Is it easy for zeds that normally run ruch to pass the "no more than 4.5% carbon monoxide" emissions test?

I've had modifications done to the exhaust to make it quiet (had a set of bolt on pea shooters made up), but I'm a little worried about the state of the cats as the rest of the exhaust is completely welded (no flanges) so I can't take a look. Also, the wires on my exhaust temp sensors have been cut off right at the end of the metal sleeve so I can't reconnect them, so I'm not sure if I'm going to have a hard time convincing them that they only operate a light on the dash and don't have anything to do with "emissions controls".

I will also be removing the BOV's and swapping the pod filter for a stock airbox. I have no idea if my car is still fitted with the stock recirc valves though, but i'm not sure if this is something they will check, not that they will be able to see them buried inside the engine bay.

If their equipment is accurate you will fly thru 4.5%, even at revs

Assuming you're running the stock ECU and noise levels are ok you should be fine. The guy who did my test there was very knowledgeable (qualified mechanic) so you shouldn't have any probs with him worrying about exhaust temp sensors etc.
