gearbox is out? New clutch is needed, will have to be done before the Temora cruise in mid June. As my heater core also needs replacing, I was wondering if that job is easier/quicker to do with the gearbox out or whether that makes no difference? For the record, I have a UAS 6 puck clutch which has now done 66000km, have done a few drag strip days on it and also abused it for 15000km when I had no 1st gear and was always starting in 2nd.

Only one thing I can think of....

you may be able to remove the screw behind the gromet in the firewall? Otherwise, no advantage. And I got similar km's from my UAS clutch.
