After getting a new touch screen installed my antenna just always raises even when its playing a cd or something (Used to lower when not on the radio) and its the biggest eye sore.. im never listening to the radio so i wouldnt mind if it just never rose, without breaking it off how can i stop it coming up?

Either disconnect the remote antenna wire or take off the boot trim and unplug the remote antenna wire from there to stop it raising.

There is a wire (one of many) connected to your head unit that powers the electric antenna, you should be able to identify which colour it is with the wiring diagrams in the owners manual.
You have two options, disconnect this wire so the antenna never operates or install a switch in the circuit.

just put a switch in there it's usually a blue wire from the stereo and the wire to control the antenna should be black with a red trace

Also check to see if the installer has used the Amplifier signal wire instead of the aerial signal wire on your aerial.

I bet the unit is a Pioneer. Their units raise the antenna for radio, CD and Aux/USB

    This!
I have a Pioneer unit in mine, they only have a single remote/radio wire (blue).
I need the signal for amps so I put an inconspicuous switch under the dash in the event that I ever want to raise the antenna

Captain obvious, but here is a simple paint diagram:

My setup is a bit more complex due to multiple amps (using a relay) but you should get the idea.
