Well 3.5 actually ( a z31 is only half a z32  ) non turbo with 5spd box, needs 4 shocks, 4 tyres, & a brake master cylinder kit. ....... has 3 small patches of minor surface rust ... and a slightly damaged front guard slightly damaged front guard... Kingy
yeah.... real happy with it son was the seller on behalf of his mum so its has 'old ladies' smell about it. We cleaned it out today and discovered a notebook that has the full service history of the car ..... every cent she's spent is listed with a date / the supplier, receipt number, even the mechanics name is entered for some of the bigger jobs that have been done. The last entry was a year ago where it's listed she sold the car to her son ( who promptly bumped into the back of a semi, hence the minor damage). The owners manual was also in the car along with the factory service booklet, its been fully filled in and we took a punt and tried the phone number listed in the booklet ( with the addition of 039 ........ ) and rang the original owner ealier this evening.... he was rapt to hear about his old pride and joy So we're happy with being the 4th owners of a very well maintained car, a few minor repairs and she'll be all good. Andrew (son number 2 @14years of age) pulled out the seats and carpet today, the seats will get a good clean and the carpets will undergo the Gernie treatment to remove a few old stains aswell as years of grit n grime. Plans: It's Andrews car so he has a few years to work on it and learn as he goes, basically it will get a full check over and whats not right will be fixed/replaced, then a RWC, rego...... and I'll use it as a daily for awhile.... It will get a nice set of rims and a respray.... subura blue apparently kids ...... Kingy
This will make an interesting first car mate. Good find! C'mon admit it - The great thing about kids is you can buy 'em toys but play with them yourself.....
If that's how it works you better get busy and have a boy cru1sr I'm not sure i subscribe to that theory, I've got 2 daughters but Barbie has never done much for me. Back on topic That is a nice looking Z31, Should be a great project for the young fella, I'm helping a young bloke Chopper rebuild his (Deceased) Dad's Z32 and it's really been a good experience working with and learning with the young fella, Enjoy the Time together with him Kingy before you know it he'll be Married with kids of his own.
My oldest (Stephen) is out and about in my Corolla because I havent finished his ZX (weather is all wrong at the moment) Andrew is 14 Damon is 3 Jenson is 14months the way I see it ....... I have 3 more ZX rebuilds to do before I die

I HAVE to play with their toys while I fix/replace the things THEY break/loose Andrew has all ready lost my 19mm socket, favourite philips-head screwdriver, and I cant wait to find out why my 6x4 trailer is parked in the middle of the paddock, and the z31 has only been here for 48hours Kids...... mutter mutter mutter

The new color combination is set with all the components being here as of 3 weeks ago..... now we wait for a decent few days of warm weather with low humidity..... rain rain go away .... come again AFTER I'VE PAINTED THE ZED dont worry..... I'll update the thread the instant the color goes on Kingy
