hi all, well just did a trial fit with the above setup and the baskets don't fit, the intake housing of the turbos do not clear the manifolds, i thought they were supposed to be clocked to fit, now i want to know if it is ok to reclock them to fit without any other modifications?, this is a pain in the ass, 5K on shit that doesn't seem to fit cheers
may need a slight reclock mate. take some pics brother.. ps . have u recieved the dumps i sent you yet?
They are, but you are using different manifolds... probably just need reclocking, my turbos are bigger than yours and clear MSP manis with factory heat shields no probs. Just call UAS and ask...
no, the actual snail part of the intake housing of the turbo hits the manifold, which means that the manifold turbo outlet does not sit flush with the turbo exhaust inlet, this is the passenger side turbo, the drivers side fits fine once you remover the 90 degree oil feed line on the motor, will get some pics this arvo and post them up cheers this is all done on my spare motor on a stand, not the motor out of the car, but its a TT and i assume is exactly the same

NO, they will need reclocking and its piss easy to do. So dont stress dude. Undo 6 bolts and twist. Dont get any easier. PM me if you want and I will give you my number and talk you through how to clock em.
thanks tektrader i think i'm ok now, was just a little spit when "bolt on stuff" never "bolts on", lmao only have to gain 1mm or so and the snail cuts away pretty sharply in the right direction cheers
