A quality turn-out at short notice and a magnificent 200km run in ambient 24 degrees Thanks to Maree and Gavan + Charlie for providing the excuse to cruiZe... never need much of an excuse :zlove: and thanks to Black Baz for leading the way and putting up with his PSA. Bring on the pics.
That was a fantastic cruise. Some of the most fun I've had driving in ages. Apart from that dickhead commodore driver who tried to run me off the road and then continued to drive in the middle of the road so none of us could pass, the drive went smoothly. AZA, Nasty girl and I played up the front, setting very good pace. Kudos to Ashley as that girl can drive. She was keeping up with AZA with ease.:zlove: Kiz, I love that orange. Even though its a holden colour it looks great on a zed. I cant speak for everyone else but I think we need to start going to the english pub instead of St Bernard. They used to be great but $18.50 for 5 pieces of dry calamari and some burnt chips and $4.60 for a light beer is ridiculous. And Since when have the chefs specials been $10 more than the mains. The food was a real let down for me. But I hear the steak sammidges were good. Nice to meet BigZ and Archon for the first time. You have some nice looking zeds there. Good to see everyone else again too. I hope Charlie had a good time.
Was a great cruise... Both myself and Christie had an awesome time. Finally proved to AZA I could keep up Beautiful weather and not alot of traffic. Zedexer and I had a very spirted run when we got seperated.... great fun. The mystery of the magical transmittin UHF is still unsolved.... very weird. Here are a few pics....
to think.. to think that I wasn't gonna come along this morning. A little bit of persuasion from the crew and I jumped on board as a PSA. Huge thanks to Kiz for having me. Was such a perfect day for cruising as well. Couldn't have asked for much more. Cept maybe to be in my own zed. But even still That didn't bother me at all today. Great people, great day, GREAT EVERYTHING. You guys really are an awesome bunch. Agree with Al on lunch though. Bit exy given the serving. not to forget huge thanks to Ash for having me on the drive home. Nice seeing a new face or two as well! Can't wait for the next one. Fate
Was a good day enjoyed the day yes there was a couple of silly people on the road me included a lil but that commodore drive took the cake I forced my way pass him but he didnt seem to want to let anyone else past. yes Ash you can drive not bad for a chick i guess lol, was good having charlie along as psa for most of the day hope I didnt scare the poor dude too much lol, thanks for organising the cruise maree. now when is the next one?
awwwww shucks Hehe I have to admit it does make a fantastic day spending it with awesome cars and awesome people.
Oooh, you're in trouble Aaron :bash: Thanks to Fate for transport to/from the meet and ALL who purchased merchandise to keep our Forum funded.
a top day in Paradise, indeed ...... many thanks guys and gals ..... with the Tomewin Twisties as an extension, i think that cruise is a better run doing it from the southern end ... great fun with a bit of everything ....
I have to say that was a great day. Most annoying was the dude on his Fatboy bike with the 12" wide rear wheel - slow and wobbly around the corners and quick in a straight line made him hard to get past. Thanks Maree for coming up with the idea, and cheers to Baz ... well ... for being Baz Only a couple of pics from me. My baby waiting patiently while I have lunch: All tucked up for bed after a second clean for the day:
Didn't make this one, tranny cooler is being fitted Monday ha!... looks like it was a good run tho. Fate whats happening with your Z?
What a fantastic day, its been a while since I have been able to make a cruize and this one took the cake. I just have to upgrade my brakes now so as not to get any more fade for the next time, was a bit scary coming down the hill with little to no brakes. Other than that a fantastic day with the guys and it was good to put some more faces to names too. Looking forward to the next one.
We also had an amazing day.........thanks so much to everyone who came along, Baz for orchestrating the direction of the cruise and for everyone making Charlie feel so welcome.........especially Aza and Kiz for letting him play PSA with you both.........only downside is that I got very sick yesterday afternoon from the calamari that I had at lunch time-so I also vote not to eat at St Bernards any more, and I hope no one else suffered the same issues......other than that, a great day, great weather, great cars and as always, great company
The fence is to keep our new puppy in her side of the garage until she's big enough to sleep outside. Then Heather's car can come in out of the cold.
A Panorama of the 3 hill shots. Originally posted at full size which kinda killed the thread, oops this one is 30% size.
