I am looking to drop a new motor and box in the car already built and going to produce some serious power. Negotiating price and deal on this now....not 100^% concrete

As a result I will be selling mine and was keen to see what ppl think in terms of price and if there is interest.

Car/engine has 96000Km on it. When i bought it 9 years ago its had 76000km and its only done 20k in that time. It was garaged for 5 years and started every now and again during this time but not driven (records can prove this from RTA if ppl want validation). It has been back and registered for 2 years now and I have done 8k in that time. It doesnt miss a beat, was tuned not to long ago by Toshi and made a touch over 250RWKW on a mainline Dyno at 16psi. Engine is strong as. Tune was made with torque in mind and it pulls so hard down low. As a result Boost was turned down to 12psi. It pulls plenty hard at that level. Its never been raced or dragged and cant remember it needing to see redline, Toshi tuned it so well I LOVE the mid range!! Anyway its got a new clutch put in that was rebuilt about 3k ago. It was a UAS button clutch however its was rebuilt by a guy in Sydney and is really nice and drivable and grab and holds.

So I will be parting with the box, clutch, engine and ecu. The whole package really. Not sure what a package like this may be worth and its not for sale so I am keen to see what ppl think something like this would be worth and also if there is interest. I would make a great TT swap package to drop right it and go!! Probably the box could use some new bushes for shift and thats it. Car is serviced every 4-5k and I am fastidious with using quality oils like Amsoil or Redline.

I wouldn't think a stock motor would be worth a whole lot.

Probably best off removing any "go fast" bits and sell them off separately

OP is dangerously close to an Expression Of I nterest question, (which are banned) that I will be watching where this goes.

I'd say around $1000 for the manual box and $2500 for the engine. For the engine though, definitely provide compression test results from reputable garage and if possible sell it while it in the car so the buyer can see it running.

Yeah thats what I plan to do. Ppl can come take it for a spin and see for themselves before I pull it. Hoping to have a it pulled and sold just after i get the other one. Would rather line someone up though so they can do this....ppl are more likely to buy something they are comfortable with that they know works and I am sure it will attract better dollars that way. Wow I would have thought the box/clutch would have been worth a bit more though...either way 3500 for a full package is pretty decent. Is the NA and TT box the same?

NA and TT box are essentially the same. Very minor differences.

Realistically I'd say $1500ish for a stock healthy engine.

Manual gearbox $700ish (As full manual conversion kits go for around 1k or even less as we've seen recently)

Clutch $200ish (2nd hand clutches are just hard to sell - OS Giken twin plate with plenty of meat went for $400 recently and is a $2k clutch new)

    Ecu $300 (if nistune installed)

$2500 for the whole kit would be in the ballpark of what you could expect to get back I reckon. Going off previous prices on the forum.

^^ Agreed. Prices line up well with what I sold similar parts for recently.
