    but alas, no.
After completely rebuilding the fuel system with twin pumps, twin lines, regulators etc., I found 5 out of the 6 injectors weren't working tonight. So now I have to decide whether to bite the bullet and buy some 740cc Nismos or persist with the 550 UJ's.
Anyone who remembers the problems I had with the 550cc UJ units not performing as expected would understand why I want to throw them out and get some 740's.
Anyways, I'll post a quick vid up when it finally sparks up.

UJ is Unisia Jecs, who are the manufacturer of

the OEM injectors and now owned by Hitachi I believe. Noticed a guy on ebay selling Nismo 740's for $920 delivered, so think I will get a set tomorrow.

Hey mate... nearly there eh? Tried 12v applied direct to injectors :D

  8. Kalus

    Kalus Finally dug myself out

    Yes, tried that....

Am gonna hotwire the pumps today and try it again, just in case they loosen up. I'm really over this set of injectors, they've never performed as they should.

I remember all the dramas you had with those when you first got them Kyne. Might be better off to just pull them out and hit them with a big hammer. They will never bother you again after that.:D

    Good to see you back.

I gave the injectors to Dwight today....

will see what he comes back with, though I'm still not comfortable with putting these back in.

    I'm 80% sure it'll be at Warwick......

Probably won't be 100% finished, but I'm doing my best to have it on the road. I'll be deliriously happy once I hear it actually running again.... should sound awesome straight out of the turbos without any dumps :)

Awesome you are kicking goals Kyne! So did the fang in my Zed do the trick after all?

Also with injectors, that's a real bumber 5 out of 6 died. An engine I recently reserected after sitting dormant for 4 years only had number 5 DOA!!

    actually.... no ...

The error code was due to badly corroded terminals on both my series 2 and ur series 1. After a clean up, it started firing.
