Im having an issue with my immobiliser at the moment. When I press the button to unlock or lock the car, the inicators blink as normal but sometimes the right hand indicator stays on without blinking just on. It sorts it self out once I press the immobiliser button a few times. Any idea what could be causing this?
Possible a failing relay inside the immobiliser box. If the same thing doesn't happen when you use the indicators normally, then by process of elimination it will probably be in the immobiliser itself. Probs like this usually indicate the immobiliser might be on its way out. Best to get it checked by a competent local alarm installer
Thought so, only happens when I press the immobiliser button to lock or unlock it. Never happens when I use the indicators. It's a very old system, time for a new one I think.
