I made a thread a while ago bitching about my aircon vents not working. I could only get it to blow at the window or into the abyss (half window half somewhere else) I borrowed my brothers (Vizard)s pod, hooked it up and it worked once or twice. Since my brothers car is back on the road, I gave him his pod back. Hooked it up and now its doing the exact same thing as mine! his ac was working perfectly before this. Any idea what could of happened?
Cunning and very smart! you have given your brother your old pod. Seriously, one of the motors that controls the directional flaps must have failed
Nah, I gave him his original pod back because mine isnt in the best condition but now his ac is having the same problems as mine and he isnt very happy
It may be a co-incidence, but most of the motors are failing because of old age. We need to find a solution or find a replacement for that motor. But I would say it is a dash out job. Contact Adelaide Z cars. They have replacement motor with actuator. Try to move the lever by hand and check if it isn't stuck.
i think ill just take my stereo surround out and force open that center vent area, or just brake the whole thing off so its always open.
