Hi guys, after recently purchasing a new BLITZ 'Sus' Power air filter for my Z32 i decided to do some research on how it performs. The blitz filter retails for around $249 AU.. but i found a brand new one for only $50 ;)

I currently have a K&N filter installed but its getting very old & looks almost black as i dont think it's ever been cleaned.

Anyway check out this test & see what you think. Also feel free to discuss what air filters your using, why you chose it & what performance you gained.

Interesting, but a bit old (1999). Not sure how much the filters would have changed since then, if any at all.

It's also a sample size of 1, so it's pretty much impossible for them to grade anything reliably.

Either way, interesting. Makes me think I should test my HKS. :p

funnily enough people have tested ryco panel filters vs k&n panel's and found the ryco to produce more power in alot of cases. (on dyno and on road testing)

Just something to add and think about.

i have a Blitz sus in mine and it barely fits behind the front mount. can't say i noticed much improvement in power or response but what i really wanted a pod for was too remove the huge standard air box to get as much air as i could going through the vented nose panel and front bar into the radiator.
