    hey everyone :)

im currently in the process of installing a new gearbox and oil cooler and also want to upgrade my torque converter to a 2400 - 2800 stall (something around there) and was wondering if there are aftermarket low/hi stall converters available anywhere or if ill have to take my torque converter somewhere and get it upgraded?

any advice or info would me most appreciated :)

    thanks, matt

I notice you are in perth. Take your converter to Allfast Torque Converters and they can tweak it to get as much out of it as possible without ditching it and getting a custom one made, but to get a custom one you would loose lock-up. Tell them Kurt sent you. They did mine and i'm really happy with it. My converter is with them at the moment getting the lock-up plate removed and cleaned out cos i chewed out second gear

The good thing about the converter in general though is that the more torque your car makes the higher the stall will be, so get a "more-stall" made up by them and concentrate on either getting more low down torque or get 4.11 diff gears and your car will be a rocket
