Just wondering if anyone would be interested in these? Im keen on getting a set and spoke to the wreckers about a group buy and ended up with- 5 or more sets $230.00 each plus postage 10 or more sets $215.00 each plus postage Vic can pick up. They normally sell for $261.00 *I have not yet seen these in person, but will head up there to have a look tonight and give a bit of a report- looking for some interest atm. Heard there no good.... I got a reply for if anyone could start a gb on these and was told that its no good since the cops pull you over since the orange light is 2 small and i kinda forget wat else i was told....anyone enlighten me on this please, but yeh they do look nice as seen on show cars....i would rather get the new jdm look though.

I'd hope that the vinal is thick enuf for it to block out the light - so you are left with round looking lights from the stock items... Kinda like eyelids for the back...
Just went and bought a set! They look great!! Fantasic quality for the price. I took some pics as the other one did no justice. Mind you, I have not been able to fit to my car, yet, as its getting some work done. Hope they FIT!!! But, they do look very even. Pics
thought that too... at 1st... But they really grow on ya!!! Cant wait to get them on the Zed!!! Its all a matter of opinion. I really like 'em.
Someone here posted recently about these lights. Got pulled over as they didnt illuminate the rear of the car properly. Guess if you are going to put these on just dont drive at night and you should be fine. Regards Mark

the vinyl cover ones look alot better.. and cheaper too.. just depends on fitment nad how flush/good it is..

They look to be around the same size as..... The new VY - VZ commies. So IF you get pulled up by a cop in a new commodore just tell him to look at his own orange lens's.
I got these opn my car and i dont like them now. only got them to be different now i have seen 10 cars just around my area in sydney with them, plus too many people laugh because its like ferrari/skyline wanna be blah blah blah.... So mi saving up for the real thing, 2000 model rear lights which are beautiful and real makes the zed looks good. For price these arnt too bad but at night only one circular red light per side and one blinker which is white. The fitting was ok but one side sticks out a bit and couldnt be bothered fixing it until i get the 2000 spec lights because too many of these everywhere.
ak...where are you getting your 2000 spec lights from. I know of conceptz, ttzed and uas sell them. Any places where thery're cheaper. Or better still is it possible to organise a group buy on 2000 spec lights or something. I reckon it be a good idea as we'd all benefit. cheers
