Aftermarket ECU options these days. Any new developments?

So realistically I have pretty much reached the max for nistune IMO. Just not enough resolution to run such big boost and have decent driveability etc.

What are the best options these days?

Skylines convert Z32 ecus to run nistune as a cheaper option than standalone, what about going the other way?

Man your plug in options from Vipec or Haltech are pretty hard to beat.

Forget converting Skyline Power FCs etc, that's old-skool tech.

    Haltech.

I'm using ms3x but that's cause I wanna learn do my own wiring harness etc. Haltech plug and play is mint.

When you going E85 and wind the boost up?!

Probably not suitable for you but I'll post it here anyway just to put the info out there. Someone on the facebook tech page the other day said they'd be using http://www.nissandatavoice.com/ as a cheaper nistune alternative.

    Haltech Platinum Pro

Haltech Platinum Pro Plug and play all the way IMO, Flex fuel, Closed Loop Wide band control, launch control, boost control via ecu, on board Map and more. And the software makes it so easy.

As MagicMike doesnt mention PnP, neither should one limit themselfs with one IMHO, i would have looked long and hard at the Emtron KV8.
I would definetly have opted for one if it werent for the fact that i "just" got a Vi-pec i88

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Rob pretty much nailed it. Nothing you didn't know already Mike, get over it and pony up :p

Also want that i88; that's what I have been planning for ages. I haven't looked into the new Haltech though.

    VIPEC, Link, Haltech, Emtron

VIPEC, Link & Haltech do plug and play, I doubt Emtron does

The Link G4 300zx works sweet and will do the trick for most but if you want top of the range then look at Vipec I88 or Emtron.

I've got a Haltech Platinum Pro in my race car and am tossing up between Haltech Elite and Motec Century series for the race engine in my Z34 - as I need to control DBW multi-throttles - tossing up between 2 75mm TB and 6 52 mm TB at present.

The haltech elite looks very impressive. It would really depend on the price though as 100mh processor in the Emtron or Syvecs is a real draw card.

id hold off a couple of months on the haltech Elite.. quite a few bugs still in the firmware.. looking to be an impressive unit though

I'm currently running haltech PS2000 wire in

Thanks for the input guys. For future proofing sake, e85, launch and traction control are requirements, wmi and nos control are bonuses.

Prefer plug in, but wire in is acceptable if there is something that can't be ignored.
