Does that contribute anything other than bumping the fuel pressure? It is connected and terminal clean. Havent actually checked if working tho. Aftermarket reg also. Fuel pressure normal.

Just tested the loom side of the ecu plug.

    Pin 58 (power) and 101, 103, 105, 110, 112 and 114. Everything came back showing between 11.5 and 13ohm.

Everything except pin 110 (injector 2?). It showed 66ohm. Tested that injector and it showed 11.5ohm.

So, what does it mean Bazil?
High resistance points towards dodgee solder from the injector connector change?

Re-solder and give it a crack. Feel your pain man

So fixed the resistance issue and had a play around in nistune. Could get a steady idle to hold at 925rpm at about 14.5 to 1, still have an issue with a touch of throttle going instant rich, then when I increase revs to 3k to goes mega lean :(

Going to eliminate selin back to single maf and intake.

Also seems o2s are not responsive. Bugger.

    Anyone got any other thoughts?

    Get rid of selin

    Get rid of 02

    Boost leak test

If all this checked out I would then

do everything manually takes ages but start tuning your fuel map individually cell by cell as best you can. So you got your nice steady idle done. Work from
There. Then get someone to drive while you tune the low load areas.

Worst case scenario you end up wasting time. Best case your cars fuel map is tuned for real world (dyno loads differently than road)

Then get timing tidied up on dyno (don't know what fuel your using)

So Karl came round on Sat morning for a looksee. Modifying the tune that was in it, we were seeing exactly the same spastic symptoms as before.

So he wiped it and started with a different .bin and started again. After a quick dial in and a few kms all seems well. We think maybe something in one of the tables somewhere has gone screwy.

Havent had a chance to drive it again since and put some kms on it in traffic, with the cold up here maybe tomorrow haha!

Some new o2's, and a time when Karl can fit me in for a tune I am hopeful the saga is finished!

    Thanks mate! :D

    Bahaha, too funny :)

We'll get it all tuned up as soon as I get a break in the long line of Z's seeking some love.
