I have been doing some searching and kind of confused on which way the adjustable front upper control arms are sopose to go. Was reading a couple of threads and some say one way and others say another way. In the SPL link http://www.splparts.com/doc/SPLFUAZ32/default.htm are they the correct way? I know the adjusting end goes into the bracket but does the arm itself sit the way it is in the SPL link or does it turn around and sit the other way?

on a zed slots face backwards ;)

other cars can differ ;) (eg. some holden models do not produce left/right rotors, only one way but internal vanes are different)

set it up the same way as SPL

reason being is that the main body has to sit in the centre of upper bolts.
mine was other way and because car is low ..on big bumps bolt hit the locking clip and broke it ..

slot car has altered pivoting points so wont hit ...
