After some specialist paint help here. I am doings some body work modifications and am wondering if I can use arylic primer under enamel paint. Am I going to cause issues, as it is a very small area and am not keen to have to go and buy a tin for the difference.

2 pack enamel Dave ?? If so yes you can spray over the acrylic undercoat. Just dont get it too wet. Not the best substrate but it can be done.

Alot of acrylic primers are universal primer anyways. You should be fine, but as suggested dont go to crazy with it.

hi in most cases the general rule is that enamel will go over acryilic but not acrylic over enamel, when spraying enamel again in most cases enamel does not require a primer regards L
