It doesn't really matter who's fault it was(but trying to fit your car through a space that is too narrow, and failing)certainly removes any doubt in my opinion.

Try this guy for your wheel repair(I have used him a few times over the years, and so has Wizard)does a bloody great job.

Oh! In case I forgot, it was your fault(or maybe they built the road too narrow):p:p:zlove:

Guess what, I copped a RED Card for giving Stirling Moth the details of where to get his rim repaired(that is the last time there will be any assistance coming from me)
This system is heading down the crapper at the Speed of Light.

BTW MoulaZX, scraping your rims because you were too impatient to be delayed for a few seconds, says more about your lack of driving skill than anything I can add.:F:

Nah can get it done a lot cheaper than $250. I got my gram lights touched up for $150 for the pair, you couldn't tell the difference between the brand newies up front.

you may say that but i find on average sydney motorists are about 1000 times more aware than SA drivers, most of the ones here are well over the hill and think they are too old too be paying much attention to the road.

Surprised you can see me from way up there on your horse mate. Don't try to tell me you haven't 'ever' attempted the same thing. You know, waiting behind some moron for quite some time... in a bit of a rush...

In 6 years of driving (granted im sure pales in comparison to your years), this is my first ever instance of scraping a rim in this manner, to add to that, only 1 single speeding ticket and no major accidents, only a minor back on my red P when a lovely young lady decided to step on the brake a little too late, and now you're judging 'my' driving skills? Even the cops are amazed when im pulled over that i've only had a single speeding ticket ever, given my background, age and the car I drive. So what... now you've labeled me now some hot head, immature, irresponsible hoon? Hah please!

What I find hilarious is while granted you do occasionally give good advice, you lose any respect you gained in my eyes in how you deliver said advice.

I'm not too proud to still say thank you for the reference for that rim repair place though. Cheers for that.

Are you positive about that? Seen some complete morons on these roads... but to be safe, i'll postpone any plans for SA lol.

Have you actually bothered to meet Chili in actual "real" life? He might not seem terribly approachable in his posts but he's a good guy. Grow some thicker skin, move on, enjoy the tough love;).

Actually I have. While I don't usually agree with his forum personality I thought he was a top bloke face to face. His wife was also really nice, loved that butter chicken she made. :)

...and obviously I know i'm the one that drove my car to scratch the rims, the last thing I need is someone making it out to be 'entirely' my fault, I don't appreciate that in the least.

So let me get this right

You are fuming with yourself because you are an impatient bastard and tried to squeeze through a hole too small for the car to fit through and buggered a rim?

OR you are fuming at the other driver for not leaving enough room for you to get through when you are in a hurry ??

You should change the thread title to " I am fuming at myself for screwing up and wrecking my rim "

Face it, what you did was stupid. Dont blame anyone else. AND yes that rim will fix.

I am not touching this again. Way to beat a dead horse. Read the other posts, I wont bother copy and pasting. I love how self righteous some forum members get. Quite funny indeed.
