I was just reading the racelogic traction control thread, but I thought this would go better in a separate one.

Has anyone retrofitted the ABS to an older model Z?
    Is it difficult to do?
    Are they readily available?

If you require the ABS parts from a Z32 PM me as I can sell you the lot.

Standard in TT's and a option in NA's so I hear...

Retrofit would be a big job, the control unit, sensors on all wheels, lines, hubs, computer. Cost a fortune and a PITA to carry out. I would sell the car and buy another to be honest. Unless you have another car to swap all the gear out of.

Does it tie into the ECU or just control the braking?

usually just controls the braking, though some ECU's that have T/C build in will be hooked into the ECU as the T/C may control brakes and throttle
